This sauce can be made ahead and frozen or put into a jar for a dipping sauce. It goes really well with the Oven Meatball recipe I posted under Hamburger.I find this recipe very close to the taste and texture of the restaurant sweet and sour sauces. I usually double this recipe and freeze any leftovers.
Sweet And Sour Sauce
1 1/2 cups water
1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 cup of brown sugar
2/3 cup ketchup
Bring to a boil and add 2 tbsps. of cornstarch to thicken.
