Well, today is December 26th, only one day after Christmas and I just went and put $500 on our credit card through online banking. Gotta love that online banking eh?
Basically a bit more than a double payment. We have met at least one of our December goals, Yay! Go us :).
I don't understand why it almost "hurts" to pay back money on debt. It was never our money to begin with but yet I found myself hesitating putting extra on our credit card. It really is one of our goals to get it paid off and we are totally excited to be debt free,like we were before this last move. Maybe it is a good thing that it does hurt, if I remember this feeling and learn from it I will be better off in the long run :).
Well, tomorrow is the big day when dh will be calling our mortgage company so that we can start mid January to pay biweekly accellerated mortage payments. We still have our regular monthly payment due the 1st of January of $873.14( This amount includes our property and school taxes) and then on January 11th it will start coming out every two weeks. It will be nice to break it up so that we are not paying the lump sum all at once.
