Dh went to finalize his claim for his retirement posting and we didn't use all of the money in which we were intitled to. They let us know yesterday that we will be getting $2200 back!
We still owe property taxes and the credit card not to mention we have no emergency fund .
$1000 is going into our emergency fund with ING and the rest is being put into our other account at our bank which has no debit card access until we find out how much dh is getting back from his commission at work in a couple of weeks and we should have those property taxes paid off in full.
Dh hasn't had a chance to call and find out if we actually owe the full $2600 now after the assessment was redone last week on our investment property.If dh doesn't have time to call tomorrow because of work I will call to find out.
Having an Emergency fund back up and running will be such a relief!

Building that emergency fund up will make you feel a lot better!
Ours sure came in handy for us this month.
(We would have been in a bind without it, with all the things that broke down around our house).
